Meet Wanda Gavade, MATHESON’s self-proclaimed “Mailman” and the heartbeat of the Montgomeryville, PA office’s community outreach. Whether she’s streamlining processes or rallying the team for a charity drive, Wanda brings passion and precision to every aspect of her role as Administrative Support Manager.
If you’ve ever contacted MATHESON’s general info email address, chances are Wanda has handled or directed your correspondence! Wanda’s journey with MATHESON began in 2015, managing the general inquiry inbox and e-commerce web registrations. Her knack for organizing and helping others led to her promotion to Administrative Support Manager in April 2021.
In her current role, Wanda leads a team that manages MATHESON’s digital communications, along with handling order entries and daily eCustoms Reports. She also updates Master Control Procedures and opens new accounts for the Specialty Gas sales team, constantly improving processes for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Wanda’s contributions to MATHESON go beyond her day-to-day duties. She is the driving force behind many of her office’s fundraisers and charity events. Inspired by her parents’ mission work, Wanda finds immense joy in organizing initiatives that support good causes. From organizing food drives for a local nonprofit, to creating the Wall of Honor for our service men and women on display in our Montgomeryville, PA office, her efforts have brought the MATHESON team closer together. She believes that teamwork is essential, saying, “It really is a team of people who step up and help.”
Wanda’s passion for reading mystery novels, painting, and spending time with her family, keeps her grounded and inspired. She makes the most of her time outside of work saying, “Life is too short not to enjoy each and every minute of it.”
She describes MATHESON as an amazing place to work, highlighting the challenging and stimulating atmosphere and the great people she collaborates with. Wanda emphasizes her team’s dedication to continuous improvement and encourages new employees to do the same. She advises, “Be ready and open to learning new things. We are constantly learning, even after almost nine years, I am learning something new every day.”
